I received my PhD scholarship from China in July 2020 when the covid epidemic is spreading around the world. After a long holiday for me, I began my work in industrial ecology at Leiden University in February 2021.

Seriously I am not a foodie(eat simple while working) but I Do like food and cooking. In my spare time (really scarce), I will dive into my kitchen and make pasta. I have tried to make all sorts of dark cooking about bread, like filling in sweet sauce，chili and black pepper powder, coconut oil, etc. My favourtie one is the sourdough bread filled with sweet sauce and has a vanilla flavour. Ground beef and herring usually appear on my tables, served with red cabbage and lettuce which are my favourite vegatables (as they are quite easy to prepare).

As my weight is always on the edge of nomal and overweight, I am forced to develop the good habit of running regularly. Besides, I am keen on reading e-books, listening music and watching streaming vedios and TV series (Sherlock is my favourite). I also keep an eye on
tweets in case I missed other big names’ moment of glory (Today our team’s work on XXX has been published. Oh, when is it my turn?).

I am also a newcomer to the website construction and some basic programming tasks. In CML, we use input-output analysis(IOA), material flow analysis(MFA) and life cycle analysis(LCA) for the environmental impact assessment. I am eager to compile and analyse large data sets to understand the environmental consquences of economic activity. Welcome to having a chat!

自白

2020年硕士毕业，赶上疫情度过了一个难得的大假期，还是怀念和家人在一起的日子，但是不工作不行啊🤦🏻‍♂️，终于在2021年2月开始了在荷兰莱顿大学的读博生活。

不算吃货但喜欢做菜，不忙时喜欢做面食（问题就是读博大部分时间都很忙），老面发酵派，在莱顿尝试过各种黑暗面包料理（甜面酱夹心、辣椒夹心、黑白胡椒夹心、椰子油夹心)，发现香草味甜面酱老面发酵面包是我的最爱。喜欢牛肉、和鲱鱼，经常牛肉、鱼肉和鸡蛋一起烧荤菜（菜色不敢恭维但味道还行），喜欢紫甘蓝、抱子甘蓝和生菜（好做也好吃）。

体重常年游走在正常与偏胖的边缘，被迫养成了长跑的好习惯。不忙时喜欢带上相机骑行，边拍风景边疯骑车。在家的话看电子书，听歌，刷youtube和netflix。偶尔翻翻关注的学术大佬的twitter（经常是“我们又有新文章发表了”，搞的自己压力山大）。系里研究以环境影响为主，各个领域均有老师学生涉及，能源、工业、建筑、农业、矿业、土地利用等等等等。短期目标是做一个投入产出（IOA)、物质流分析（MFA)和生命周期评价（LCA)的工具人，尝试用开源数据和平台分析环境与能源问题，长期目标就得看天看浪了。但是理想总还是要有的，希望以后回忆起博士四年的经历，不说为节能减排、气候变化这些大话题贡献了多少决策支持力量，但总能挑出一两篇有意思的好文章，足矣。
